AutoStore Express comes with a free server and is a device-only-license based version of AutoStore. Designed for building simple data-driven workflows, AutoStore allows customers to easily create searchable PDF files and distribute electronic documents all inside the server based workflow environment.

AutoStore Express can be seamlessly upgraded to more sophisticated versions of AutoStore to give you more advanced capture workflow features.

With the AutoStore server you can recognise barcodes, enhance, convert and compress images and route them to almost any document management solutions.

One essential part of all NSi products is the ease of use. AutoStore Express is configured through an easy to use Process Designer, allowing to create your workflows using drag and drop. Since all menus are generated by the administrator they can also be created in the way they make sense to the end user - regarding language and terms.

Many multifunctional devices already offer basic features such as Send To Folder, Email or FTP, but by looking closer at these features you will see the following differences:

  • Send To Folder A basic feature delivered by most MFD’s is send to folder, but most devices can only route to a defined folder which is linked to a key. That means contracts will end up in one defined folder. AutoStore Express will create a form on the device, which allows you to enter or pick the customer and choose a contract type. The contract will then be routed directly into your existing folder structure, creating all necessary parts and renaming the file dynamically afterwards.
  • Send To Home Directory This feature is amongst the most needed functions in most organisations that the basic device can not really deliver. AutoStore Express provides its own authentication to have users log into the device – based on this information, AutoStore Express server asks the domain controller for the user’s home directory and sends the file into that folder.
  • Send To Email This bread and butter feature has been available for a long time on MFP devices in limited form. AutoStore Express can be programmed to display data from the backend applications as well as the LDAP server and places the files in the user outbox in Outlook. Additional features include archival into network drives prior to email or printing hard copy files based on email destination.
  • OCR Since OCR is a very power consuming task, it can not be delivered directly from the device. AutoStore Express has a powerful OCR engine that allows almost anything you need to be configured in an OCR Engine. This includes the capability of using dictionaries to increase OCR quality, OCR teaching and generating over 10 different file formats including PDF, MS Word, MS Excel, HTML, MS PPT and many more. Using a server based OCR engine you can see the power of conversion and the impact of savings.
  • Send To Application AutoStore Express integrates directly into the most popular business applications such as: Lotus Notes and Microsoft SharePoint Services/Portal. AutoStore Express routes documents and values directly into the database or document library in these systems by hitting the prompts on the device panel.
