The s.a.x. MasterLayout® is a modular software solution for Host printing and management.
The s.a.x. MasterLayout® FormServer optimises the printing process between Hosts, Servers, WANs, LANs and Desktop Printers. By typographically formatting text, data fields, and positioning field data, the s.a.x. MasterLayout® FormServer produces top quality output in accordance with CI guidelines.
The software also offers the ability to automatically distribute formatted output by e-mail and fax utilising all the functionality of MS Word and Windows 2000/2003 Server technology.
Documents can also be archived locally on a hard disk or sent to a central document management system in Word or PDF format for later retrieval using a range of search criteria.
In addition, s.a.x. MasterLayout® FormServer was the first external solution to be approved by SAP for the RDI (Raw Data Interface), minimising the effort required within SAPscript.
However, a range of other data formats are supported including Line Printer, CSV and plain ASCII.
