With the introduction of more professional multi-functional devices there is a growing need for helpful tools to use these devices efficiently. MFP ToolBox FaxManager and Scan2FTP are two new modules to enhance your mfp.

MFP ToolBox

FaxManager enables the hp LaserJet mfp to send incoming fax documents to an e-mail inbox or to a FTP server where it is stored. It can run on any hp LaserJet mfp with an onboard analogue fax. FaxManager can be configured through the mfp's web interface and will set the option Fax Printing Mode to Store All Received Faxes. This will enable the device to store incoming faxes on the hard disk. FaxManager will poll this location and process the fax when a fax is stored but will not do any conversion of the stored faxes. FaxManager will distribute the document using the configured setting via e-mail, FTP, or both.

Scan2FTP enables the hp LaserJet mfp to provide a One-Touch Scan button on the display of the mfp. Scan2FTP will scan the documents and send them to a FTP server. Users don't have to provide index values through the front panel as Scan2FTP will store the documents using a date-time stamp as a filename. Scan2FTP can be easily activated and configured through the web interface.
