Educational institutions and libraries using a SafeCom Pay solution to offer feebased printing and copying may wish to deploy SafeCom Money Loaders. The SafeCom Money Loader allow users to deposit cash money to their SafeCom account outside normal working hours and without the presence of administrative staff.

How SafeCom Moneyloader works

User walks to the closest SafeCom Money Loader and identifies themself. After login users can deposit notes and coins. At logout users are asked if a receipt should be printed. The receipt shows the balance, the deposited amount and the new balance.

SafeCom Money Loader is a steel cabinet (safe) equipped with colour touchscreen, receipt printer, a note acceptor and a coin acceptor. The deposited amount is transferred (encrypted) to the user's account on the SafeCom G2 server without delay. Users can also revalue their account via the Internet using SafeCom ePay.

Secure 2mm thick steel cabinet with three point locking bar. The cabinet door is equipped with two locks. Dimensions: Width 34 cm, Height 50 cm and Depth 30 cm. Weight: 25 Kg. Prepared for post-installation of motion detector alarm system. Designed for wall mounting and easy operation. Robust and proven note and coin acceptors that can be configured to accept bills and coins in a specific currency. Touch-screen is a TFT colour LCD with a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels and a display area of 13.25 cm by 9.94 cm. Computer runs Windows XP Embedded, has an NTFS formatted hard drive (min. 20 Gb) and features an RJ-45 network port (Ethernet 10/100 Mbit).

Send e-mail to the contact person when either the number of received notes, coins or printed receipts is beyond the specified maximum limit. A 200 dpi thermal printer that uses thermo paper with a width of 35/58 mm. Paper rolls can be bought from most office suppliers and bookstores. Print cash report when money is collected. Customised appearance; Insert logo on the opening screen and insert text below the Finish button in the deposit money screen. Software can be updated via USB key. Different currency support and possible fitting of identification device (card reader) upon request.
